My stay at Hotel 71 was fantastic overall. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Old Quebec, and the staff were wonderfully accommodating. However, I found the noise level a bit high due to the number of cruise passengers during my stay, which detracted slightly from the experience.

I stayed in a spacious deluxe king plus room on an upper floor. The view of the Princess ship was great, and I really appreciated the wood floors instead of carpet. The bathroom was roomy and modern, complete with L’Occitane products.
Service

The service was really good from start to finish. The front desk team was helpful, and the concierge made sure my luggage was swiftly taken care of. I encountered no issues whatsoever during my stay.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk to many attractions and delicious restaurants. It was also a convenient base for exploring Old Quebec City, and the provided umbrellas were a nice touch on rainy days.

I dined at Matto, the on-site Italian restaurant, where the food was genuinely delicious. Breakfast options were limited, though, and I would have loved a few more choices. Overall, the restaurant experience was quite good.

My stay at Hotel 71 was truly enjoyable. The room was spacious and immaculate, offering a lovely view of the St. Lawrence River. The location was fantastic, close to everything I wanted to see in Old Quebec. However, the breakfast could use some variety, as it felt repetitive after a few days.

I loved my superior king room. It was delightfully quiet with a super comfortable bed and the bathroom was equipped with fantastic products. Even though it was near the elevators, I hardly heard a sound.

Hotel 71 is perfectly situated in the heart of Old Quebec. Everything, from charming bistros to shops, was just a short walk away.

While the breakfast was included, it lacked variety and freshness. I noticed the croissants could have been better, as they were not baked fresh.
Facilities

The facilities were well thought out, with complimentary hot beverages available all day. I appreciated the little reading corners throughout the first floor.

My stay at Hotel 71 was really good. The warm, cozy lobby greeted me after a rainy arrival, and I was immediately charmed by the friendly atmosphere. The room was spacious with impressive views of the castle, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. However, navigating the elevation of Quebec City’s streets was a bit of a workout, especially when heading to the higher old town.

My loft room was modern and spacious with stunning views. Great water pressure in the bathroom and thoughtful design made my stay comfortable.

The staff was very nice. Special shoutout to Jimmy, who made our experience nice with his enthusiasm and helpfulness.

Located in the heart of Old Quebec, I found it easy to access the lower town. Just a bit of a climb to reach the higher attractions, but that’s part of the charm.
Dining

Breakfast was a good European Continental spread. Wholesome choices like cheese and pastries started my day off right.
Facilities

The hotel featured nice lounge spaces with a self-serve bar. Plus, room service and various amenities enhanced my stay.

My stay at Hotel 71 was good, with spacious, beautifully designed rooms and a fantastic location. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which truly enhanced the experience. However, one of the two elevators was not working during my visit, which made for some long waits. Overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy Quebec City’s charm.

Rooms

My room was sleek and spacious with a tall ceiling and a narrow window that let in plenty of sunlight. While the occasional noise from the corridor was a bit distracting, I found the bed and linens incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep.

I enjoyed the included breakfast that offered a variety of options, but I found it would have been nice to have a few more choices after a few days. The on-site restaurant, Il Matt, was really good and worth trying.
